this video is also incredibly fake there was loads of wind at the begning but it looks pretty sheltered there.

Bigger picture!?!?! this is the Perito Moreno, it moves 2 meters a day cutting the lake “Lago Argentino” in 2 and it creates a natural dam. Eventually the water crosses from one side to the other throught the gralcier creating boves that eventually collapses and that is what you are seeing. (it is estimated that this glacier has not changed its mass in the last 500 to 1000 years).

LMFAO.. don’t connect it to ‘global warming’. You look at the bigger picture, that happens all the time. What do you think ice bergs are? How long have ice bergs been around? What else is gonna happen when a glacier is getting pushed into the sea?

glaciers break dude, its called “calving” they are a moving highway of ice coming off the mountains, they always shear off, i agree about global warming but stay the fuck out from underneath glaciers because they will fall and crush your dumb ass! killer vid tho!

Its really scary to see the ice shelf break like that. Who cares about him. The ice shelf is breaking off like that. That’s cool an all that he can wind surf in that. But what the hell. THE ICE SHELF IS BREAKING. We need to look at the bigger picture here.

hey guys stop saying that this is fake.. i´m argentinian and i know this glaciar very well and there are icefalls like this and also bigger ones..and i have touch the water and it isnt imposiible to get into the water.. is not that cold.. but yes you have to be crazy to do that because when an icefall happen there are a lot of pieces of ice that fly away and can hurt very bad

Perito Moreno ! I just posted a video(taped in1998)There are ocasionaly people who want the thrill to get close to the Glacier.When I was there a woman had been swimming near that very spot…no ice fell at that time tho.BTW there is wind for sure also .A little crazy that guy? dunno…it’s saver to watch tv on your sofa but you’ll die too
